RAINFOREST CAFE® is an American concept created to educate it’s visitors on the protection and preservation of the flora and fauna of the worlds tropical rainforests. The development of the Rainforest Cafe® spanned over 17 years with 45 restaurants opening throughout the world.
Our restaurant: Rainforest Cafe® Disney® Village, Disneyland® Paris opened in 1999 is unique in France.
Rainforest cafe® is designed to depict some features of a tropical rainforest with state of the art décor and animatronics – it’s a real jungle in here!. A life-sized gorilla pounds his chest in the bushes. A trumpeting elephant rears his head. Exotic birds sing and butterflies float under a lush canopy of banyan trees and flowering vines. Cool mists float though the air, amid sounds of far off thunder and cascading waterfalls. Huge aquariums of tropical fish add a live element.
The staff of Rainforest Cafe® are named in accordance to the “safari” theme. Servers are called Safari Guides, Host/Hostesses are Tour Guides. Retail sales assistants are Pathfinders, Bussers are Safari assitants and the Kitchen staff are Trailblazers.
Our menu features an array of delicious items and tropical treats, mouth-watering appetizers, exotic salads and creative dishes.
